Katie Gayle is the writing partnership of South African authors Kate Sidley and Gail Schimmel, both bestselling writers who have collectively authored over ten books across various genres.[2][3][5] They created Katie Gayle over a glass of wine to collaborate on cozy mysteries set in England, featuring protagonist Epiphany 'Pip' Bloom.[2][4] Kate lives in Cape Town while Gail resides in Johannesburg, both with families, dogs, and cats.[5][6]
