Kathy Reichs
Kathy Reichs is an American forensic anthropologist and bestselling mystery author born in Chicago, Illinois. She is best known for her Temperance Brennan series, which began with the award-winning novel Déjà Dead (1997), and for inspiring the long-running Fox television series Bones. A certified forensic anthropologist with advanced degrees from Northwestern University, Reichs has worked on high-profile cases including genocide investigations in Rwanda, mass grave exhumations in Guatemala, and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center following 9/11.
