Kathryn Lasky
Kathryn Lasky is an American children's and young adult author born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who has written over one hundred books across multiple genres including historical fiction, picture books, and nonfiction. She is best known for her Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, which has sold more than eight million copies and was adapted into a major motion picture, as well as her Dear America and Royal Diaries series. Her work has received numerous prestigious awards including a Newbery Honor, National Jewish Book Awards, and has been translated into 19 languages worldwide.
