Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld
Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld, born in 1954, is an award-winning author of over 75 books for young readers, specializing in science-themed picture books on paleontology, animals, and natural history, as well as Winnie-the-Pooh titles. She earned a master's degree in English literature and creative writing, worked as a children's book editor for over ten years, and has collaborated with paleontologists at fossil digs. Raised on a farm in upstate New York, she now lives in Berkeley, California, where she volunteers at a local natural history museum.[1][2][3][4]
