Kathleen W Deady

Kathleen W. Deady is a children's author based in southern New Hampshire, where she lives with her husband Bill and children Erin and Matt. Her passion for writing began with picture books, leading to sales in magazines, and in 1999 she started writing books for Capstone Press, followed by her first picture book sale to HarperCollins after a SCBWI-NE conference critique. She has authored numerous children's books on topics including biographies like Clara Barton, ancient civilizations such as Egypt and China, and subjects like zoos, Rwanda, and dragsters.
