Kathleen Brown

Kathleen M. Brown is an American historian specializing in early American and Atlantic history, with major interests in race, gender, sex, slavery, and abolition. She is a professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania and has written works including "Foul Bodies: Cleanliness in Early America" and "Undoing Slavery."
