Kate Wilhelm

Kate Wilhelm (1928–2018) was an influential American author renowned for her science fiction, fantasy, and mystery novels, including the Hugo Award-winning 'Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang.' She was a master of psychological fiction, won multiple Nebula and Hugo Awards, and co-founded the Clarion Writers' Workshop alongside her husband, Damon Knight.
