Kate Sedley
Kate Sedley is the pen-name of Brenda Margaret Lilian Clarke (née Honeyman), an English historical novelist born in Bristol in 1926.[1][4] Educated at The Red Maid’s School in Westbury-on-Trym, she studied Anglo-Saxon and medieval history and is best known for her medieval historical mystery series featuring Roger the Chapman, a former monk turned peddler.[1][3][6]
