Kate Klise
Kate Klise, born Catherine Klise on April 13, 1963, in Peoria, Illinois, is an American author renowned for her children's books, many illustrated by her sister M. Sarah Klise, including the Regarding series and the 43 Old Cemetery Road series.[1][2][3] She previously worked as a correspondent for People magazine for 15 years and has also written picture books and her first adult novel, In the Bag, in 2012.[1][4] Klise holds a degree from Marquette University and divides her time between homes in the Missouri Ozarks, St. Louis, and Lisbon, Portugal.[2][3][5]
