Karma Wilson is a New York Times bestselling children's author renowned for her picture books, including the Bear series starting with Bear Snores On in 2002. Raised by a single mother who named her Karma hoping for good fortune, she began writing children's books after becoming a mother and using a tax refund to buy a computer, following three years of rejections before securing agent Steven Malk. Today, she inspires young readers with her stories, rhyme, and writing basics while living in Montana.
