Karla Zimmerman

Karla Zimmerman is a Chicago-based freelance travel writer who contributes to guidebooks, newspapers, magazines, and websites, including Lonely Planet and National Geographic Traveler. She has written for over 80 guidebooks and travel anthologies covering destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and the Caribbean. When not writing, she enjoys eating donuts and cheering for the Cubs.
