Karen Katz
Karen Katz (born September 16, 1947) is an American author and illustrator of children's books, known for over 75 titles including bestsellers like 'Where Is Baby's Belly Button?' and 'Counting Kisses'.[1][4][5] Her work is influenced by folk art, her studies at Tyler School of Art and Yale, and her adoption of daughter Lena from Guatemala, which inspired her first book 'Over the Moon'.[1][4][6] She has sold millions of copies and her books are used in schools and libraries.[4]
