Karen Gershon

Karen Gershon, born Kaethe Loewenthal, was a German-born British writer and poet known for work shaped by her experiences as a refugee and Kindertransport child. Her best-known book, _We Came as Children_ (1966), helped establish her literary reputation in England.[1][4]
