Karen Foxlee

Karen Foxlee is an Australian author born in 1971 in the outback mining town of Mount Isa, Queensland, who writes acclaimed novels for children, young adults, and adults. She trained and worked as a registered nurse for much of her adult life, holds a degree in creative writing, and now lives in South East Queensland with her daughter and pets. Her works, including Lenny’s Book of Everything, Ophelia and the Marvelous Boy, and Dragon Skin, have won awards and are published internationally.
