Karen Englemann

Karen Engelmann is an American fiction writer and designer born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, where she earned a BFA in design and drawing from the University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Sweden for nine years, later obtaining an MFA from Goddard College in Vermont, and is the 2011 winner of the American Scandinavian Society Cultural Award Grant. She currently resides in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and her debut novel is The Stockholm Octavo.[1][3][4]
