Karen Barad

Karen Michelle Barad (born 1956) is an American feminist theorist and physicist known for developing the theory of agential realism. They are a Professor of Feminist Studies, Philosophy, and History of Consciousness at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and authored Meeting the Universe Halfway: Quantum Physics and the Entanglement of Matter and Meaning.
