Justine Larbalestier

Justine Larbalestier is an acclaimed Australian author of young adult fiction, known for her award-winning novels such as 'Liar' and the 'Magic or Madness' trilogy. Born in Sydney in 1967, she is also a respected science fiction historian and critic, having published the scholarly work 'The Battle of the Sexes in Science Fiction'. She currently lives in Sydney and alternates time with New York City, where she married fellow author Scott Westerfeld in 2001.
