Julio Cortázar

Julio Cortázar was an Argentine novelist, short-story writer, poet, essayist, and translator known for his experimental techniques and existential themes. He is especially celebrated for *Rayuela* (*Hopscotch*) and for helping shape modern Latin American literature.
