Julie Zickefoose
Julie Zickefoose is a widely published natural history writer and artist educated at Harvard University in biology and art. She worked for six years as a field biologist for The Nature Conservancy before pursuing a freelance career in illustration, starting as a college freshman in 1976, and now illustrates her own books including Letters from Eden while maintaining a blog and providing commentary for National Public Radio.[1][2][3][5]
