Julie Schwartz Gottman PhD
Julie Schwartz Gottman, PhD (born April 7, 1951), is an American clinical psychologist, researcher, speaker, and author specializing in relationship science.[1] She co-founded The Gottman Institute in 1996 with her husband John Gottman, where she serves as President, and co-created the Sound Relationship House Theory, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and workshops like The Art and Science of Love.[1][4] She is author or co-author of books including Fight Right, The Love Prescription, Eight Dates, and The New Marriage Clinic, and has been honored as Washington State Psychologist of the Year.[4]
