Julie Bates Dock
Julie Bates Dock is an independent scholar living in Torrance, California.[4] She is best known for compiling and editing Charlotte Perkins Gilman's "The Yellow Wall-paper" and the History of Its Publication and Reception: A Critical Edition and Documentary Casebook, published by Pennsylvania State University Press in 1998.[2] Her scholarly work brings together materials relevant to the story's publication and reception, along with documents that shed light on Gilman's attitudes toward authorship.[5]
