Julia Neuberger
Julia Neuberger is a British rabbi, author, and social reformer who was ordained in 1977 as the second female rabbi in Britain and the first to have her own synagogue.[1][3] She served as Chief Executive of The King's Fund from 1997-2004 and was appointed Senior Rabbi of the West London Synagogue in 2011, becoming the most senior woman in Jewish religious life in the UK.[1][5] Made a DBE and life peer in 2004, she is also known for her work as an educator, broadcaster, and advocate for ethical healthcare and volunteering.
