Julia A Mathews

Julia Mathews (1842-1876) was an English-born actress and singer who gained popularity on the stage, particularly in Melbourne, Australia. Born in London to James Mathews, a sailor and artificial flower maker, and Sarah Irviner, a music teacher, she debuted in Sydney at the Royal Victoria Theatre after her family moved there. She died at age 33 in St. Louis, Missouri.[1][2]
