Juan Felipe Herrera
Juan Felipe Herrera is an American poet, author, and activist of Mexican descent, best known as the first Hispanic American to serve as U.S. Poet Laureate from 2015 to 2017. His work often explores immigration, Chicano identity, California life, and bilingual expression, and he has published more than 30 books across multiple genres.
