Jr. Gerald F. Combs
Gerald F. Combs, Jr. is an internationally recognized leader in nutrition, specializing in micronutrient functions, diet, and cancer prevention. He earned his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Maryland in 1969, M.S. in Entomology from Cornell University in 1971, and Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell in 1974. He has worked at the Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center, ARS/USDA, and authored 'The Vitamins: Fundamental Aspects in Nutrition and Health.'
