Joseph Souza

Joseph Souza is an award-winning American author known for his short stories, crime novels, and speculative fiction, including works like The Neighbor, Pray for the Girl, and The Reawakening. Before becoming a writer, he worked as an intelligence analyst for the Drug Enforcement Agency's Organized Crime Unit in Washington, D.C., and on the South Boston docks. He lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife and two children, and has received accolades such as the Andre Dubus Award and the Maine Literary Award.
