Joseph E Stiglitz

Joseph E. Stiglitz is an American economist and professor at Columbia University known for his work on information asymmetry, market failures, and economic policy. He won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2001 and has also served as chief economist of the World Bank and chair of the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers.
