Joseph Dillard

Joseph Dillard is a professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison whose research focuses on the bacterial pathogen Neisseria gonorrhoeae and its role in disease, including pelvic inflammatory disease and disseminated gonococcal infection. He studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham before completing postdoctoral training at Northwestern University Medical School.
