Jonathan Raban

Jonathan Raban was a British travel writer, novelist, and critic, celebrated for his vivid narratives of place and identity. He won the National Book Critics Circle Award for 'Bad Land' and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Born in 1942, he wrote extensively on the American West and British geography until his death in 2023.
