Jonathan Edwards

Jonathan Edwards (1703–1758) was an American theologian, philosopher, preacher, and Congregationalist minister widely regarded as one of the greatest minds in early American history. He played a pivotal role in the First Great Awakening religious revival and served as pastor in Northampton, Massachusetts, and later as a missionary to Native Americans in Stockbridge.
