John Zukowski John Zukowsky
John Zukowsky (also known as John Zukowski) was an American entomologist, inventor, and author born in New York City in 1914; he worked as an elevator operator from 1936 to 1943 and later became a chief curator at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. Despite having only 2.5 years of high school and no college, he pursued a career in science and literature, contributing to works on technical subjects and authoring books on entomology and invention.
