John Wessel

John Wessel, born January 20, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an American mystery novelist and University of Chicago alumnus (A.B., 1975). He worked as a bookseller before becoming a full-time writer, living with his wife Susan in a Chicago suburb. His works include the novels This Far, No Further (1996), Pretty Ballerina (1998), and Kiss It Goodbye (2002), featuring characters like Chicago private investigator Harding.
