John Thomas Edson
J. T. Edson, born John Thomas Edson, was an English author best known for prolific Western fiction, along with escapism adventure and police-procedural novels. He also served as a former British Army dog-handler and lived near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, from the 1950s until ill health forced him to retire from writing in 2005.
