John Sarn

John E. Sarno (1923–2017) was a pioneering physician, professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at New York University School of Medicine, and attending physician at the Howard A. Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. He originated the term Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS), attributing chronic pain, especially back pain, to repressed emotions rather than structural issues, revolutionizing mind-body medicine through his books and treatments.[1][2]
