John Roger
John-Roger Hinkins (born Roger Delano Hinkins) was an American spiritual teacher, author, and founder of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA) in 1971, following a near-death experience in 1963 that led him to adopt his new name and share teachings on spiritual inner awareness. He authored over 50 books, including New York Times bestsellers, and established organizations like Peace Theological Seminary and the University of Santa Monica to promote spiritual psychology and world peace. Known for his global seminars and emphasis on loving and self-discovery, he influenced thousands until his death in 2014.
