John Riddle

John Marion Riddle is an American historian and specialist in the history of medicine and pharmacy. He was a professor emeritus of history at North Carolina State University, and his work has focused especially on ancient and medieval medicine, including Dioscorides and the history of herbal contraceptives and abortifacients.
