John Price

John T. Price is an American author and associate professor of English and creative writing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, known for his creative nonfiction exploring nature, family, and the Midwest prairies. Born in 1966 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he earned a B.A., M.F.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and has published books such as Not Just Any Land (2004), Man Killed by Pheasant (2008), and All is Leaf (2022). His writing often draws from personal experiences, including a 1993 Iowa flood that inspired his work on American grasslands.
