John Prados
John Frederick Prados (January 9, 1951 – November 29, 2022) was an American author, historian, and wargame designer who specialized in the history of World War II, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and the CIA[2]. He published more than two dozen books based on declassified government documents that challenged accepted narratives about major 20th-century conflicts[1][5]. Prados was a Senior Fellow at George Washington University's National Security Archive and contributed extensively to Vietnam War history for over two decades[3][5].
