John Matthews
John Matthews (born 14 January 1948) is an English historian, folklorist, and author from Wales, UK, known for his extensive work on Arthurian Legends, Grail Studies, and the history of piracy. He has been a full-time writer since 1980 and has produced over 90 books, including the New York Times #1 bestseller 'Pirates' and the award-winning 'The Winter Solstice'.
