John Loengard

John Loengard (1934–2020) was an American photographer, editor, and author best known for his long career at LIFE magazine, where he began as a photographer and later served as picture editor. He also helped launch PEOPLE magazine and published several books on photography and photographers, including works on his own images and on figures such as Georgia O'Keeffe.
