John Kovalic

John Kovalic is an award-winning cartoonist, illustrator, game designer, and writer born in 1962 in Manchester, England.[1][5] He earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is best known for his comic strip Dork Tower, which debuted online in 1996, along with series like Murphy's Rules, Newbies, and Wild Life, published in outlets including The New York Times and Dragon magazine.[1][2][4] A co-founder of Out of the Box Games, he has illustrated over 100 games, including best-sellers like Apples to Apples and Munchkin, and was inducted into the Games Manufacturers Hall of Fame in 2004.[2][4][7]
