John Kelly
John Kelly is an American author specializing in narrative history, best known for his books on major historical disasters including The Great Mortality, an intimate history of the Black Death, and The Graves Are Walking, a character-driven account of the Great Irish Famine of 1845-1852. He has also written works on science, human behavior, and contemporary issues such as stepfamilies and FBI crime lab scandals. Kelly lives in New York City and Sandisfield, Massachusetts.
