John Kellermann
Jonathan Kellerman is an American novelist and psychologist renowned for his Alex Delaware mystery series, featuring a child psychologist consulting for the LAPD. Born in New York City in 1949, he earned a PhD in psychology at age 24, directed a pioneering psychosocial program for pediatric cancer patients, and transitioned to writing with his debut novel When the Bough Breaks in 1985, which won the Edgar and Anthony Boucher Awards. He has authored over 40 bestselling crime novels, nonfiction, and children's books, often collaborating with his wife Faye and son Jesse Kellerman.[1][3][4]
