John J. Benedetto
John J. Benedetto is a mathematician and professor at the University of Maryland, College Park since 1965, where he serves as Director of the Norbert Wiener Center for Harmonic Analysis and Applications, which he founded in 2004. He earned his BA from Boston College in 1960, MA from Harvard University in 1962, and PhD from the University of Toronto in 1964 under Chandler Davis. A Fellow of the AMS and SIAM, he is series editor of the Applied and Numerical Harmonic Analysis book series and founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Fourier Analysis and Applications.
