John Hemming

John Hemming is a British historian, explorer, and author best known for his books on the Incas and the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin. He served as Director of the Royal Geographical Society from 1975 to 1996 and has written extensively on Latin American history and exploration.[1][5]
