John Harvey 1852-1943 Kellogg

John Harvey Kellogg (1852-1943) was an American physician, nutritionist, inventor, and health reformer who directed the Battle Creek Sanitarium and pioneered flaked breakfast cereals like corn flakes, along with peanut butter and granola.[2][6] A Seventh-day Adventist, he promoted 'biologic living' emphasizing vegetarianism, hydrotherapy, and eugenics, but was disfellowshipped by the church in 1907 over doctrinal disputes.[1][3] He authored numerous medical books and founded organizations like the Race Betterment Foundation.[6]
