John Hart
John Hart is an American thriller author born in North Carolina, best known for his New York Times bestselling novels such as The King of Lies, Down River, and The Last Child, set in the American South. A former defense attorney, stockbroker, and accountant with degrees from Davidson College, UNC-Chapel Hill, and law school, he quit his legal career to write full-time and is the only author to win consecutive Edgar Awards for Best Novel in 2008 and 2010. His books have been translated into 30 languages, sold in over 70 countries, and he now lives on a farm in Virginia.
