John H. Y. Briggs

John H. Y. Briggs is a British Baptist historian and ecclesiastical scholar who served as Senior Research Fellow in Church History at Regent’s Park College, Oxford, and as Director of the Centre for Baptist History and Heritage. He has also been Research Professor in Baptist History at the International Baptist Theological Study Centre and has edited The Baptist Quarterly, making significant contributions to Baptist studies and church history.
