John Ellis
John M. Ellis is an emeritus professor of German literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he also served as Dean of the Graduate Division from 1977 to 1986. He is the author of books on German literature, literary theory, multiculturalism, and the state of higher education, including works such as Against Deconstruction and The Breakdown of Higher Education.
