John Collins Warren

John Collins Warren was an American surgeon, anatomist, and author who served as a professor at Harvard Medical School. He is best known for performing the first public demonstration of ether anesthesia in 1846, a milestone in medical history. Warren also wrote extensively on surgical and anatomical topics, contributing to the advancement of medical education in the United States.
